1. Scrapbook Divas August Diva challenge (thanks Tam) - green & yellow c/s, any pp, and an aussie theme to your pics ... I went a bit left of centre and used pics of our canola crop a few years back. Does anyone remember an aerial shot during the Sydney Olympics of a paddock of green and yellow with "go aussie go" in it? Well it was yellow flowering canola planted using a GPS among wheat and of course it was the right time of year for flowering etc. Well that property was actually near us apparently.

2. This is my take on the Divas sketch challenge this month (I chose the sketch LOL).

3. & 4. These are LO's we've done at our little Tuesday scrapping group. Gorgeous pp's.

August Diva Kits

Here's what I created with the awesome August kit from Divas - just $10 for all of this, now that's VALUE!

I really loved creating all this, loved working with the Cosmo Cricket "Cogsmo" papers, they're gorgeous. The only thing I added was a few alphas and ribbons - everything else was in the kit, so much scope with these d/s papers.

This LO was for the Mystical Scrapbooks CC recently.


As was this one using one of Susan Longman's sketches but my camera played up so I didn't get it uploaded in time.


This one is just because LOL using only 2 pieces of pp and a scrap of scalloped bazzill plus the alphas - I cut out some shapes and mounted them on d/s foam tape for dimension and that's all the embellies there are.


This LO (yes it's a 8.5x11 - unusual for me I know) is my take on the July sketch from Basic Grey and ... I've usd all BG products (except for the little blue bow thingy which is off the choccy bunny LOL).

I'm busy with my sample LO's for Divas next CC - mark your calendar 25-28 July - the theme is Vintage & Haberdashery, something a bit different. It will be heaps of fun during the w/end so please join us.

And speaking of Divas, Michelle is currently uploading a HEAP of new stock in the shop so be quick and load up your shopping cart. Limited quantities and as usual at great prices.

Lastly, on a non-scrapping note, my Grandma is 88 today!!! Wow. She's a wonderful old lady and I love her dearly. I hope she's around for many, many more birthdays.

I got both 12x12 LO's plus 2 cards out of the kit ... AND ...





... by adding just 1 more piece of c/stock and a few other little goodies from my stash I got these 2 12x6 LO's as well. Good value 'eh!!!

So, what's happening?

My Guest Design Team duties at Divas officially started on Tuesday although I was scrapping away last week doing my sample LO's for the JULY DIVA KITS, available shortly in the Divas Shop ...

There are 3 different kits available each month, $10 each and GREAT VALUE. Plenty of paper and extras to get a few LO's and cards created.

We had out June CC over the w/end but I was crook with chronic sinus/head cold so I didn't get any challenges completed in time - rather embarassing but hey, cant help being crook.

Today however I'm finishing off the 3rd LO from the w/end's challenges cos I said I'd do them and they were excellent challenges (thanks Rach, Vicky and Mel). You see, kids are at day care today so it's SCRAP DAY for me ... YIPPEE.
