Weekend Away and Back to Work

Yes, we've been away for 3 & 1/2 days last weekend - had a WONDERFUL time down at Kiama with 3 other families. That's the way to holiday believe me. When you've all got young kids, they keep each other entertained (most of the time) and there's always plenty of adult eyes keeping watch so it really isn't as stressful as just Mum & Dad having to constantly keep the little ones "in line".
The weather wasn't great mind you but honestly it didn't worry us, we all had such a great time, relaxing and having uninterrupted catch-up time with our friends.
We went to Jamberoo Recreation Park (water slides and all that) on Saturday despite the rain but the weather cleared and we had a blast there.
After leaving our unit on Sunday morning we took the kids to the beach because they hadn't actually been while we were there but the sun was shining and it was lovely. They had a good play in the sand with their new buckets and spades.
Unfortunately I haven't got any piccies yet to show you ... my camera battery is playing up (new one required me thinks) but my friend will e-mail me all her pics.

No scrapping to share either although I have partly completed my LO from Charm's online class at Scrapbook Divas last Monday night - it's a GORGEOUS LO and the class was awesome. Thanks heaps Charm, you're one talented woman and such a sweetie. Mwah!!!
I didn't get a chance last week to finish the LO or even do the bonus LO from her class so I need to get cracking.

The retreat is only 9 more sleeps away ... OMG ... is that all. How exciting. I cant wait. I need to sort and pack what scrapping stuff I'll need since I doubt I can take it all LOL.

And as you might have noticed above, I'm back to work ... yep back at my old job again but just in the office 1 day a week. I did my first day yesterday and despite them having new premises and 1 new staff member since I last worked there (I've done casual stints since leaving when I had my first child) it was like I'd been there last week. I just jumped straight into the work. Is that sad or what !!! LOL.
$$$ will come in handy so that's the main thing.

Well, while the kids are snoozing I'd better get on with some scrapping and various jobs around the place. The peace will sure enough be shattered soon :(

Cheers ... H.

PS. I had a win ... I left a comment on the Scenic Route blog about their new ranges because they were giving away 20 packs ... and would you believe I was one of the winners. WooHoo! Happy camper here. Will show you when it arrives. Cant wait to have a play.
