Keith Urban - Love Pain & The Whole Crazy Thing

Wha great show!!! And what a fabulous musician/singer ... not to mention gorgeous too !!!
Yes, I had the privilege of attending his Brisbane show (the very first gig of his world tour) with my best friend on 11th May and we had a fabulous night.

The kids and I flew up to Brisy for 10 days recently (leaving poor DH at home ... busy though with sowing canola and farm work ... missing us desperately though) and my best friend very kindly and very generously took me to Keith's concert.

I cant remember when I last went to a gig like that and had such a great night out. We had good seats and clapped, cheered, yelled and sang along all night. Oh, and we even got a glimpse of the gorgeous Nicole as she was escorted out near the end of the show. Keith publicly thanked his fans, but in particular, his wife, for supporting him through the last "crazy" 6 months - the media of course has had a field day with his little fall from grace and stint in rehab but I liked his brief but genuine mention of it and acknowledging his wife. It wasn't tacky or a publicity stunt, it seemed heartfelt.

Here's some piccies of my bestie and I and one of KU that actually turned out ...

Since returning from visiting family and friends in Brisy on Tuesday night, it's been a hectic week - worked on Wednesday (which turned out to be the last day they needed me - at least for this casual stint - which means I have Wednesday's now to do some farm office work with MIL and try and do some scrapping while DD is at day care), had dinner with the in-laws that evening then did nothing it seemed except wash and clean on Thursday and Friday. Whew ... Oh, and managed to squeeze in a Nutrimetics display at the Pre-School's "Soup & Slipper" night on Friday plus a Nutrimetics party Saturday afternoon followed by a quick trip into the Rugby Club (missed the game though). Late last night creativity struck and I started my LO for Scrapbook Diva's May challenge so I'm off to finish it now.

Aaah, a very busy gal! Kind of funny, my friend Emily was down from Warwick that same weekend and mentioned the Keith Urban had a concert coming up - I had to break it to her that it was all done and dusted :-( Looks like you had a ball. Very jealous!!
